I just had my 2nd laproscopy now I have a hemorrhagic cyst?

It is very painfull and want to know if any of you have had one and can it be serious?

I just had my 2nd laproscopy now I have a hemorrhagic cyst?
I have them too RIGHT NOW! I know your pain! It's horrible! I compared them to contractions. As far as how serious they are, I too, am not sure yet...but hope to get answers soon. I had CA-125 cancer screening blood work done and my score is 13, which is good. I hope your cyst shrinks and just goes away. I have 6 of them. 4cm or larger.

How can you tell if its ovarian cancer or just a cyst?

I am having lots of pain on the right side of my abdomen along with pain that sometimes radiates into my lower back.

How can you tell if its ovarian cancer or just a cyst?
You need to see a doctor straight away. Sometimes appendicitis can feel like ovarian pain.

It could be almost anything, so you need to go have an ultrasound to check your ovaries.
Reply:Your Doctor would have to check you
Reply:It could be a number of things (other than your ovaries). You need to see a doctor.
Reply:The only way to find out for sure what it is and have it diagnosed properly, is by going to the doctors or gyn. They are the experts in situations like this. But having such pain in your abdomen is nothing to play around with. You should go to the doctors ASAP so you can find out whats going on. Once you know, you will then have a piece of mind and can finally put your mind at ease. However, women tend to get cyst in varies of places in their body.....so you dont wanna take that chance.

But please, go to the doctors/gyn. You want them to see whether its a cyst or ovarian cancer before it's too late.

Good Luck :-)
Reply:You can't. My girlfriend had the same problem for over a year. Her symptoms included:

***Extreme pain on her right side that radiated to the back

***Serious headaches and migraines that made her vomit

***Irregular bleeding. She would stay 6-8 weeks on a period with a week or two off then right back to the 6-8 week thing again.

***Mood swings. She was so frantic once she was going to get into her car and take a plane to a village in Tibet with a monk as her guide

***Her bowels were jacked up. She never had a solid crap. Always runny, or accompanied by stomach pain and cramping.

Haye, this is my best girlfriend, we talk about shyt like that girl!

When it was all said and done with (she had a partial hysterectomy approxinamtely 3 weeks ago) her right ovary was malfunctioning, causing the cysts to build up and were wrapped so tight around her fallopian tube that her bowls had started leaking into it and was poisoning her body. Later, the cysts were determined to be hemoglobin or cysts that carried blood.

Ask for an ultrasound will. Ask your doctor what other things may be causing the cysts.

Talk to your doctor, find out the facts and be vigilant about it. When cysts rupture completely they can cause cancer. The best thing right now is to identify and treat what is causing the pain on the right side of your body which may or may not be a cysts. Get an ultrasound.

Is it ok to go tanning when you have an ovarian cyst or cervical cancer?

OMG, please contact your DOCTOR b4 tanning.. dont rely on this info from YahooAnswers. you can even call a hospital and ask any nurse, they'll be able to tell you!

Is it ok to go tanning when you have an ovarian cyst or cervical cancer?
well...for your sake, I hope the sun can't get to it....
Reply:Are you going for skin cancer too? I'd avoid it.
Reply:Talk to your doctor. I would not go tanning if I had any type of cancer.
Reply:yes it's fine as long as you don't have skin cancer
Reply:No. Tanning (if using UV rays) are inherintly bad for ur skin. If you need to tan, use a spray tan. Many tanning saloon now have spray tans which are safe. High dooze of UV rays can speed up ur cancer especially if its skin related. Even if its not skin related (like ovarian), tanning is bad for it. Dont' fry ur ovaries.. stay away from UV tanning.
Reply:If you want to add skin cancer to your prognosis, go for it. Otherwise, use a tantowel, they are the least-streaky fake tan option out there (in my humble former-beauty-store-employee opinion)
Reply:yes...unless you are having chemo or radiation for the cervical cancer..then it is not ok....and besides..if you already have a cancer, why would you want to risk getting another cancer just so you can look tan? health is more important...forget tanning
Reply:Tanning in itself (UV Rays) is a carcinogen. I don't believe they would affect a current cancer but would certainly lead to new cancerous exposure so I would not risk it. There are a lot of great sunless tanners out there now as well as spray tans!
Reply:Those two medical conditions are in two ballparks. Ovarian cysts do not preclude you from tanning. But always wear sun tan lotion with a high SPF...like maybe 40-45...to prevent skin damage. As for Cervical Cancer, are you on cancer chemoptherapy?. THere are many drugs that you cannot be in the sun's rays due to intensive skin sensitivity. Consult your pharmacist and doctor.
Reply:If you want to risk getting skin cancer
Reply:I know you have heard it before, but I'm gonna say it again. You should never, ever, ever, ever, go tanning. nothing is more harmful to your skin that exposing it to those artificial UV lights. Tanning itself, is a surge of melanin that comes to surface of your skin while you are, for lack of a better term, cooking yourself. Tanning is the bodys response to the damage that you are causing.

Please, for your own sake, stay out of those beds, they really are no good for you. If you are in poor health especially.
Reply:If you have ovarian cyst or cervical cancer do you still have the mood to go tanning? Get yourself treated first, that is top priority.
Reply:What do you want skin cancer too? Be happy with the color skin that you have-it is part of being you!
Reply:It seems that you would want to concentrate all your efforts on not dying if you have cancer, so I question whether this is a joke or not. Just in case it's not a joke, here's a little different take on cancer treatment--

In 1990, I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 3-B, but I've survived. My doctors were great people, but they really couldn't tell me squat about cancer. During the year in treatment, I started learning about alternative medicine.

Here's what I've figured out--FIRST, somebody--probably sympathetic to the AMA--is getting my answers deleted as 'not a question or an answer', because they don't want you to know about this. So if you want to keep this information, you need to copy it to a wordpad document quickly, before it disappears. Hopefully, they'll give up and stop that nonsense soon, but I wouldn't count on it. Now, here goes--

Poor nutrition, a sedentary lifestyle and reduced oxygen weaken the immune system. Once that happens, our body becomes vulnerable to common stressors. Stressors can be environmental, like viruses, heavy metals, pesticides, food additives, electromagnetic waves or pollution. They can be internal things like emotional or job stress, or poisonous people in our lives. And aging is also a contributing factor.

[weak immune system] + [stressors] = MAJOR ILLNESS (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, etc.)

Our bodies have 60 trillion--yes, trillion--cells, and there are always some mutating into cancer cells, but a healthy immune system kills them before they have a chance to get a foothold in the body.

It takes a LONG time, usually, or an exrtaordinary amount of stressors, to degrade the immune system to the point where it won't do its job, but once cancer has formed, it will generally spread rapidly.

THIS IS IMPORTANT! There are ways to BEAT cancer that the AMA is keeping from the American public, that are currently being used in Europe and around the world! Here are some great books on the subject. Some are getting hard to find--

"The Cure for All Cancers", ISBN 0963632825

"A Cancer Therapy", ISBN 0882681052

"Oxygen Therapies", ISBN 0962052701

"Hydrogen Peroxide--Medical Miracle", ISBN 1885236077

"The Natural Cure for Cancer--Germanium", ISBN 0533071410

"Killing Cancer", ISBN 0705000966

"Natural Cures 'They' Don't Want You to Know About", ISBN 0975599518

Type 'used books' into your browser and find a good site, then type in the ISBN numbers and get some great help cheap.

I know of people whose cancer has 'spontaneously remitted' (WENT AWAY for no known reason) after they went on programs of herbs and nutrition that restart our immune systems.

The American Medical Association (AMA) and the pharmaceutical companies control medical law and the FDA in this country with heavy lobbying and a revolving door policy. WHY would they want to do this? It's about the money. In 2004, medicine (doctors, hospitals, researchers and pharmaceutical firms) received 1.1 TRILLION dollars--1/4th of the total earnings (GNP 4.4 trillion) in the U.S. This is astounding, because it's like 1/4th of our citizens--about 75 MILLION people--worked the whole year just to pay the nation's medical expenses!!

That's just too big to care about individuals. You and your family must look out for yourselves to stand a chance of being healthy. This is not a joke, and I'm not selling anything--just trying to help. There is MUCH that cancer victims can do about it. Best of luck

Whats the best way to relieve the pain of an ovarian cyst?

Aleve works very well; if that doesn't work, you can try 600 mg (that's 3 regular Advil or Ibuprofen or Motrin tablets) of Ibuprofen every 6 hours. Be sure to eat something when you take them, they can be hard on your stomach. You can combine either of these (Aleve or Ibuprofen) with Tylenol (Acetaminophen) for more pain relief, but be sure not to exceed the amount of any given medication recommended on it's bottle.

Generally:

Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin): 600 mg (3 x 200 mg tabs) every 6 hours (for a cyst)

OR

Naproxen (Aleve): 1 tablet every 12 hours

and you can add

Acetaminophen (Tylenol): 2 x 500 mg every 4 hours, DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN THIS, it is bad for your liver.

Good luck, if the pain is not controlled with this, call your Ob/Gyn and tell them what you have taken and how bad the pain is.

Julie

PS, a heating pad works well on top of the affected side to help with the meds. A hot bath can help in the same way.

PPS, [IMPORTANT]***This is all assuming that you have already SEEN an Ob/Gyn and had the cyst diagnosed and measured; a large (%26gt; 5cm) cyst usually has to be removed because there is a danger of it twisting and causing trouble. If you have NOT seen somebody, and you have pain that you just THINK is a cyst, you need to be seen. There are other things that can cause that kind of pain, that need medical care, and some of them are fairly urgent.***

take it out *****
Reply:there is nothing you can really do. you can try and take some IB Profen (advil) for the pain.
Reply:I went to the dr. and he gave me a week's worth of prescription pain killers. That helped more than anything along with relaxation and not moving around much.
Reply:See a doctor as soon as you can. I had a ovarian cyst and I waited so long to see a doctor that I was very weak and dizzy. I had to have it taken out.Good luck. I feel great now.
Reply:I had ovarian cysts on both my right and left side. I was taking anti-inflammatories but they just upset my stomach even with eating so I started taking tylenol 3 for the pain and they worked great. I went for my second ultrasound and they shrunk on their own. I recommend talking to your doctor though.

What is the nursing care for a patient with an hydatid cyst?

No special nursing care. It is not transmitted from one human to another. Where is the cyst? It is found most commonly in the liver or lung. Rarely, it is found in the brain, heart or elsewhere. Nursing care depends upon the site and symptoms. It is mostly transmitted from dogs. It is treated with an anthelminic like albendazole. After it shrinks, it may be removed surgically.

Hydatid cyst is a parasite, a kind of tapeworm. Its larvae are transmitted to dogs and wolves by eating sheep carcasses. The larva develops to the adult worm in dog, and eggs are passed in dog faeces. Humans can ingest them, and the larva develops in the human body. It cannot grow to adult in humans.Symptoms depend upon the location in the human body.

My 2 month grandson has been diagnosed with a branchial cleft cyst. He has a very tiny indention on his neck.

The doctor has scheduled out patient surgery for him. He said if it not taken care of, he would develop problems later on. Is anyone out there familiar with this?

My 2 month grandson has been diagnosed with a branchial cleft cyst. He has a very tiny indention on his neck.
My son who is now 5 had the same diagnosis when he was only 2. We were referred to Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock, they performed a minor out-patient surgery on him, and all is fine. The most traumatic part for him was when he woke up and discovered an I.V. in his leg, and wanted to tear it right out! Any sort of surgery on a child that young is frightening, but hopefully everything will turn out fine for you, too.
Reply:my grandson had the same thing, he had the surgery and did fine with it. he is 4 now.

Hello i recently did my ultrasound and they found choroid plexus cyst in the baby.?

they told me it will go away until the time of delivery . I am very worried. does anyone have similar experience .please write what is this ..

Hello i recently did my ultrasound and they found choroid plexus cyst in the baby.?
choroid plexus cyst without other findings on the ultrasound can be normal variant. The concern is that they have a low risk of being associated with chromosomal abnormalities(trisomies 18 most commonly). However, the risk of the association is lower than the risk of fetal loss due to amniocentesis so typically people do not recommend amniocentesis. 95% of the time they are not significant and disappear.

Good Luck.
Reply:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choroid_plexus try this site..hope it helps...I can honestly say i have NO idea..but i found good info on this site..i can only imagine your thoughts running through ur head...i hope everything works out okay...good luck!
