JUst wondering if anyone else has had this problem...?? and if you had to have a c-section??

Mine was a cyst detected after 12 weeks of pregnancy. So I undergo lapascopy to remove it ( it was fearful to me as there is chance of miscarriage too ). But Thank God. I was alright and so is my child. I have epidural too. It did not wear off.

Suggest you have to consider your doctor and the anaesthetist very carefully. Normally in private hospital the gynay has their own preferred anaesthetist whom they are brief on dosage to be given.

Go for second opionin if you are still uncomfortable. This is to ensure you and your baby's safety and your peace of mind.

Reply:Sorry to hear about that. I will be thinking about you.
Reply:1. NEVER push for more than 2 hrs. If you are pushing longer than that - either you weren't ready to push or you were an ineffective pusher (sorry- it happens).

2. A cyst is just a fluid filled sac, so it will either move out of the way or pop. Shouldn't be a big deal.

3. You need to MENTALLY prepare for this delivery. You can do it. Tell yourself that you can do it.

4. If they put an epidural in and it doesn't keep you comfortable for longer than 30 min and the redosing doesn't help-- have them take it out and put in another one!!
