Does anyone know of a natural remedy for a ganglion cyst?

The natural or old remedy is to slam a hard bound book over the area of the cyst. It is supposed to make it burst. Personally, I would rather you log on WebMd and type ganglion cyst treatment and see what it tells you. Then when you make an appointment with a general surgeon (which I recommend) you will have a lot of knowledge about the ganglion and will be able to discuss options with your surgeon.





You may also want to find homeopathic remedies for ganglion cysts. Just type it like that and see what you get on the web.

Does anyone know of a natural remedy for a ganglion cyst?
I broke mine by slamming it between two hardcover books about 14 years ago. It was very painful. I don't think I would recommend this as a good home remedy but it worked for me.
Reply:hit it. they used to call them bible cyst, cause people would hit them with a big bible to bust it. it will come back though, unless you have surgery to get rid of it completely.
Reply:I have one on my wrist/hand. I hate it. I had it removed a few years ago...cut it out and left me a nice ugly scar....it came back bigger and more painful about 6 months later. I wish I had just left it alone to begin with.





I have thought about getting really drunk and hitting it really hard, but several doctors told me not to do that cause you can break your hand. Also, sometimes I wake up and my whole arm is asleep because I slept on it wrong...thought about hitting it with a book then too....maybe I am chicken, but mine is big and really hard and I don't know if hitting it would work.





I don't think there is really much else to do.
