My doctor just called me and told me I have a cyst on my left ovary and I am 8 weeks pregnant....?

They want to do another ultrasound on me at my next appointment to make sure that it is not bothering the baby. Should I be worried ? She said there is nothing to worry about now unless it starts getting bigger. Has this happened to anyone else I am so worried. It is driving me crazy my appointment is not for 3 more weeks.

they took measurements and will monitor some women tend to get them and with in a week or two the cyst shrinks back down, most women get them with every period, and they usually go away rigth after the period, in some cases they dont and sometimes they do burst, but I believe it is actually more common for them to go away on their own... i wouldnt worry, i will pray yours goes away
Reply:I get ovarian cysts pretty regularly and did while I was pregnant as well. There isn't anything to worry about, they are right. It is eventually going to bust though, as mine always do. When they do you will feel some pain~so make sure you know which side it is on so you will understand what is going on when it hurts. Just take some tylenol when it begins to hurt. It really only hurts for a couple hours and then it's gone. (It kind of feels like the pain you get in your side after you were running.) So don't worry, everything is fine.
