My doctor told me to take birth control pills, and she scheduled me for another ultrasound in 6 months. She said the birth control pills will balance out the hormones. I was on the depo-shot for about a year and a half, and I stopped taking it in August, and ever since then I have been having the weirdest, and most painful periods ever. From October to December, I didn't even stop bleeding!!!!!
I'm 20 yrs old, I've got a 3cm cyst on my right ovary, do I have anything 2 worry about?
MAY I SUGGEST, DITCH THAT DOCTOR AND GET A SECOND OPINION NOW. mY WIFE IS A MIDWIFE BY PROFESSION, SHE URGES YOU TO DO SOMETHING NOW TO MAKE SURE THAT THER IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT IN THE FUTURE, DON'T HESITATE DO IT NOW!!!!!!

Reply:It maybe a fibristic cyst sometimes they pop that is what the DR told me when i had pain on my ovary you should talk to your gyn Dr about this she could tell you, what the worst thing that could happen to you would be..

you should contact another doc my advise is to get in touch with a GYN that specialized in fertility because you may not want children at the moment but for the future you want to know your uption about what to do with the cyst
I would not wait for 6 month to see if homone work

Reply:go see another docter I had a 4cm cyst on right ovary last year ended up in hospital and they ended up taking my ovary as well as the cyst out. Don't leave like I did your too young to lose your ovary. Let them do something now I urge you please
