I'm not sure what a 'tovar' cyst is (never heard of it) but a cyst is a sac of fluids and air, or sometimes parasites that aren't necessarily supposed to be there. They can be caused by infections, or nothing at all. Some cysts can be drained depending on where they are, which eliviates or lessens the pain. You may want to seek out the help of a back or spine specialist, who would refer you to a surgeon if it's necessary.

The reason that cysts hurt is because, well, they're just something that's not supposed to be there. They rub agianst other things in your body, causing pain and discomfort. Sometimes they go away on their own, and the pain subsides. Sometimes you'll need to have it drained. Sometimes you can manage the pain with medications, and let it go away on it's own.

I hope everything goes well. :)
Reply:My best guess is that this is obviously making your back pain worse. You should find a spine surgeon to remove it for you. Basically, it sounds like you have a giant growth in your back that needs to be removed.
Reply:Best specialist is Aurther Gramsmith in Jacksonville, Florida. Baptist South Hostital. I would get to him before you have surgery. You will like him.....
